First, preheat the butter so that it softens. This makes the frosting smooth and creamy. You will need 2 sticks of unsalted butter equal to 1 cup or 230 grams.
Beat the mixture with a mixer until smooth, about 1 minute. You can use a hand or stand mixer for this recipe. It doesn’t matter which one.
